Back in the studio - recording some Frankie & Kelly originals! We have been working on some new original music which we are so excited to release next year. The first of which we plan to release in January, and we can't wait for you to hear them. As always, working with our producer Frazer is an absolute pleasure, and this time we've of course involved our extremely talented Pedal Steer Guitar player John LeMaster - our completed projects just wouldn't be the same without his steel takes. We're also delighted to have been introduced to Amy Daves, an equally talented fiddle player, and we can safely say she's also blown us away - keep your eyes peeled for the release of our latest track.

What a whirlwind of a weekend! Despite plans we alread had, we were asked to play The Tower Bar due to cancellation and were happy to be two-steppin in. Considering the short notice for our performance, what a fantastic night it was. We were also delighted to see people specifically turn up when they heard we were standing in. Thank you so much for coming along, your continued support means so much to us both. We hope everyone in attendance had as good a night as we had, and thank you to The Tower Bar for asking us to stand in - it was our pleasure.

What an incredible night we had last night at Bankton Mains Bowling Club playing to our sold out audience of Laura's Line Dance Class! A fantastic turn out for an incredible festive celebration, well organised by everyone involved, great food, great compan and great entertainment, along with money raised for charities too. Thank you to everyone who came along and danced the night away with us! We have had an incredible run since going live this summer and what a night to end our live performances for the year. We are looking forward to spending time songwriting and working on some new Frankie & Kelly originals to wrap up the year.

Winchburgh Bowling Club welcomed us for a country and christmas evening with Frankie & Kelly and had a fantastic night! A huge thank you to everyone who braved the dreadful weather to come along and support us! It was great to perform some Christmas songs, country style, and we had a wonderful response to our original songs played that evening, which means so much to us both.

We recently had the pleasure of entertaining to a sold out venue in Broxburn - Arrowz Sports Lounge! The crowd were absolutley fantastic and the venue is brilliant, would recommend to anyone! Everyone in attendance had so many kind things to say to us and the owners and bar staff made the place a proper hoedown with decor, themed drinks and snacks too! So many people were up singing, line-dancing and just having an all-round great time. We can't wait to come back and entertain you again, Arrowz!

We had the absolute honour of entertaining the members of The Royal Burgess Golfing Society of Edinburgh last night, and had a fantastic night. The evening was organised and themed by the society themselves, and our guests sat down to an exquisite 'chuck wagon' themed meal, along with perfectly paired drinks, before coming to be entertained by us in the absolutely stunning Dining Hall of the clubhouse. The venue is nothing short of spectacular, as was the audience. From line-dance tuition to beautiful slow dances, the night was full of country classics and the feedback from our audience tells us that they had a fantastic evening, as did we, and we can't wait to come back soon.

The Tower Bar - WOW! What a night. The pub was absolutley packed full - regular pub visitors and new faces we've never seen before alike, and the place was jumping all night long. Every song had a fantastic reaction from our audience, with many requests coming through which we were able to accomodate and perform. Overall, the feedback has been outstanding, with two dates secured at the same venue for next year, they are sure to be just as amazing nights as the one we had last night. Thank you to everyone at The Tower who made the night what it was, and apologies that we were not able to thank every single person in person. We LOVED it, and we love The Tower.

After an incredibly successful gig at The Murray Bar last month, we have been so excited to prepare for our gig coming up this weekend at The Tower Bar, our local bar, where a lot of our friends and loved ones spend time and have a drink together whenever life allows. We are very much looking forward to entertaining the regular visitors to The Tower Bar, along with any new faces we've heard are very excited for The Tower's very first country night.

This weekend, we played The Murray Bar, Polbeth, and had a fantastic night. Getting to perform for a brand new audience again is always the best experience and to have the response we do with people up singing, dancing and having a fantastic time is exactly why we're doing this. Once one gig ends, we are counting down the days until the next. We have plenty more performances coming up which we are looking forward to, and hope to be in a venue near you soon!

A very exciting blog update today as we are so pleased to say our first gig in The Tower Bar function suite went amazing! An incredible reception from an even better audience, made all of the hard work worthwhile. From classic country covers, to modern country songs, playing our OWN music live for the first time, and even a little bit of line dancing here and there, it was surely a night to remember for all involved, and especially us. The journey continues!

Rehearsals are in full swing for us recently, with our first batch of live gigs planned in the coming weeks. We are very grateful to our friends at The Tower Bar, Livingston, who allow us to use their function suite wherever possible for us to fit some rehearsals in, in a venue with our equipment. We have a gig planned for a 50th & 60th Birthday party in said function suite coming up, which we cannot wait for. For right now, one of our mottos is very relevant: REHEARSE, REFINE, REPEAT!

Whilst rehearsing for our live debut later this year, we've been working on improving and updating our equipment to be of the highest standard possible, including microphones, PA, and more. We have some phenomenal guitars including a gorgeous EKO 12 string and semi acoustic ovation applause, which features on all of our latest releases, however, we knew it was time to add a new baby to the guitar family, and what a guitar it is! After careful consideration and practise, it's time to introduce you to the new member of Frankie & Kelly:

We have been attending ongoing rehearsals at Werra Foxma Studio in preparation for our live debut. We are working hard on putting together a range of classic country covers, modern country songs, and most importantly, bringing our own original music to a live environment. Putting together a visual, exciting performance has been an amazing experience and we are so excited to be bringing what we have to offer to a stage near you very soon!

Being back in the studio with our latest creation has been so exciting this January. We have been working on our latest track "In Walked You" and are so pleased with how it is coming together. Complete with a clever story, fantastic song-writing, our talented friend and steel guitar player John LeMaster's input and the usual pristine production from Fra Brown, we cannot wait to release this one on both bandcamp and all major streaming sites.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Thank you for all of the support you have given us throughout 2024, which seen more music releases from us, including the release of our very first EP - COUNTRY AS! We are incredibly exicted to see what 2025 has in store for us.

We recently were fortunate enough to meet Maggie in Glasgow, a line dance choreographer and teacher, who choreographed a line dance to our song "More Than I Should" - it was a wonderful experience and we loved learning it and seeing it performed live by Maggie's fabulous dancers at her Bishopbriggs class. Maggie hosts several line dance classes in Glasgow, both at intermediate and beginner level, in Bishopbriggs and also at Maggie's Rock 'n' Rodeo bar. We would highly recommend her classes and you can find out more about her and where you can learn at her Facebook page "Learn to line dance with Maggie". We are also looking forward to teaching the "More Than I Should" line dance when we perform live later this year!

We have recently been in the studio working on some amazing songs which we have very exciting plans for this year. We also have two studio dates currently booked for the coming months to work on more songs we have been writing and working on over the last few months. We always thoroughly enjoy our studio time and making our songs a reality together, and we cannot wait to share what we've been wroking on this year so far. Any further updates on releases will be posted here on our website and on our Facebook page "Frankie & Kelly Music"!

We have been submitting our music recently to independent national and international radio stations, with great feedback and airplay had so far. Several of our songs have had their debut on both IAm4UKRadio and Phil Kranz's Blackdog Indie Country Radio show, and we continue to have over 25 weekly plays on both Amazing Radio UK & Amazing Radio USA!

--------

Our new single Till Then was released on the 30th of December and now available on all major streaming sites. In addition to this, we've since had radio airplay on three different radio stations including Amazing Radio USA! We have had some great feedback on the track and are very proud of it as we are all of our creations. We have a studio date booked for February and lots of exciting plans for new songs, and some special things in the pipeline for songs we've already released - watch this space!

We spent time in the studio with our producer Fra this week working on a beautiful ballad that we can't wait to release soon. We also received a first mix of this track from our wonderful steel guitarist John LeMaster who is from Florida, USA. He has a wealth of experience in country music and we are delighted with what he has brought to this track and so excited to have him on board with future projects.

--------

We visited Glasgow's home of country music this week - Glasgow's Grand Ole Opry to shoot some photos for our upcoming single release cover artwork. Seeing the fantastic atmosphere and wonderful line dancers made us all the more excited for the release of "More Than I Should". We got some fantastic artwork, opened some doors and met some lovely people with similar interests in country music and discussed plans for performing in future.

--------

It's release day! "More Than I Should" is now available on all major streaming sites to listen now. We are delighted that the day is finally here and love the fun, country line-dancing theme of this track. We are so looking forward to hearing feedback from everyone that supports us by listening to our music. We've been working hard on another track recently, with artwork plans in place and also a meeting with our fantastic fiddle player Laura Cross, and studio time booked for next week! This is our second time working with Laura and we can't wait to see what we come up with!

--------

We were back in the studio this week with our fabulous fiddle player Laura and as always our talented producer Fra. We love our studio sessions so much, and it's the best feeling watching and finally hearing our creations become a reality. The song we recorded in the studio is to be released before the end of this year, and it's a very special song. We can't wait for everyone to hear it!

--------

We're excited to announce that we're releasing a new song very soon. This ballad is a love story that we wrote and recorded back in the beginning of the year, which we planned to keep for an album release. However, we think it's about time the world heard this song. "Fall With You" will be available in November, with the release date to be announced in the next few days. Watch this space...
